Home Runs for Hope

Bringing Our Community Together for Awareness, Prevention & Support

On August 30, 2026, NØpiates Committee joined the Tri-City ValleyCats and community partners at Joe Bruno Stadium for Home Runs for Hope, an evening recognizing Overdose Awareness Day.

The event brought families, community members, local organizations, and supporters together for an evening of baseball, connection, and hope. Throughout the evening, attendees had the opportunity to learn about substance use disorder, prevention, treatment, recovery, and available support services.

Home Runs for Hope was created to recognize Overdose Awareness Day in a way that focuses on what we can do as a community—raise awareness, promote prevention, provide education, and connect individuals and families with support and resources.

NØpiates Committee is grateful to the Tri-City ValleyCats, Rensselaer County, community partners, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the evening possible.

Together, we can make a difference.
Awareness. Prevention. Support.
